First Monthly Retirement Board Meeting
The Retirement Board May Discuss and Take Action on the Following:
- Pledge of Allegiance.
- Accept comments from the public.
- Approve minutes from the August 8, 2012 meeting.
Presentation Material - Routine items for September 12, 2012.
Presentation Material- Approve certifications of membership.
- Approve service and disability allowances.
- Accept disability applications and authorize subpoenas as required.
- Approve death benefits.
- Accept Asset Allocation Report
- Presentation on Fiduciary Education.
Presentation Material - Consider and take possible action on amended Fiduciary Education policy.
Presentation Material - Presentation of Cash Flow report for the six months ended June 30, 2012.
Presentation Material- Consider and take possible action on investment in Artisan Global Opportunities Fund.
Closed Session
- The Board will go into closed session under Gov. Code Section 54957 to consider recommendations from the Medical Advisor and/or staff regarding the following disability retirement applications:
Member Type Sought Recommendation Ronnie Walker Service Connected Service Connected Anthony Simi Service Connected Service Connected - The Board will continue in closed session to consider the Hearing Officer’s recommendation regarding the disability application for Cleo Patzer-Alvarado.
- The Board will continue in closed session to consider Medical Officers/Staff recommendation regarding the disability application for David Carpenter.
